At the Kutani Ceramic Laboratory, participants will experience painting on small Kutaniyaki plates. The instructor is a master Kutani artist, who skillfully uses five different colors to create small plates with similar patterns that are completely different from each other.
The painted Kutani Yaki small plates are fired immediately after being painted. You will receive them at dinner with the Kutani Yaki artisans. Looking at the small plates, which are full of the individual personalities of each participant, you will naturally engage in conversation with the artisans.
After painting on small plates, participants will experience making Kutani-yaki shapes using molds.
